Foundation to Change Proposal Deadlines

In order to devote the time needed to thoroughly review the growing number of grant requests we are receiving, The George Gund Foundation is changing its proposal deadlines.

Deadlines will now be March 15 (for consideration at the June meeting), June 15 (for consideration at the September meeting), September 15 (for consideration at the December meeting) and December 15 (for consideration at the March meeting.)

The change will begin with proposals submitted for a September 2007 decision. They will be due June 15 instead of June 30. If this presents any difficulties for you, please contact one of our program staff. We will try to be as flexible as possible during this transition period.
