Borowiec, who is a professor of art at the University of Akron, is the winner of many awards, including the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. His work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions. These photographs reflect the Foundation's continuing commitment to the economic development of this region as it works to build a new future on its historic manufacturing base.
